Project Director - Citizenship

Christine
Chen, Esq.

Christine G. Chen is the Director for Advancing Justice-LA’s Citizenship Project. Christine provides legal assistance and direct representation to immigrants wishing to undergo the process of naturalization. Christine engages in direct legal services, policy advocacy, grant management, technical legal assistance, and capacity building.
 
During law school, Christine was an Asian American Bar Association Law Fellow and an extern for the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC). After law school, Christine interned at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (APILO) on trafficking cases and worked at The Walt Disney Company on employment-based immigration visas.
 
Christine received her J.D. from Depaul College of Law where she specialized in Public Interest Law. Christine is Taiwanese and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
